Calendar
What is it?
The calendar shows planned and actual test case entries, maintenance, milestones, and station reservations for the organization in a month, week, day, or list view. Filter chips let you show or hide test cases (planned/actual), maintenance, milestones, and reservations; clicking a day shows its details below.
How to use it
- Filtering: The chips at the top ("Test cases (planned)", "Test cases (actual)", …) toggle each event type on or off. You can also filter by station and project.
- Configuring display fields: Under Settings → Calendar you can configure which extra information a test case entry shows: project, test object, station, and time.
- Scheduling mode (work calendar): Also under Settings → Calendar,
"Scheduling mode" determines organization-wide how test durations are
converted into calendar entries — "Continuous (24/7)" (default) counts every
duration calendrically, even over weekends; "Working hours only" schedules
test cases only within the working days and hours defined there. Individual
test cases can override this mode — see "Overriding working-hours mode per
test case" under
testsequenzen. - Sequences in the calendar: The test sequence itself no longer appears here as its own combined entry — only its individual test cases. The schedule bar for a whole sequence still shows on that project's page.
- Station occupancy calendar: On the stations overview and the station
detail page, the occupancy calendar shows which test cases and
reservations occupy a station and when — one bar per test case or
reservation, not per sequence — including detection of double bookings:
when two bars overlap, each shows on its own row instead of stacking into
one. A booking's tooltip also names its sequence, or for a reservation,
its reason and who reserved it. How to resolve a detected double booking
directly is described under
pruefstaende.
Common issues
- "I don't see one entry for the whole sequence." That's intentional — the calendar only shows the individual test case entries of a sequence. The sequence bar as a whole shows in the schedule on the project page.
- "Events far in the past or future are missing." The lab calendar loads reservations, milestones, and maintenance in a window of about 6 months back and 18 months ahead. Very many concurrent projects can additionally limit the test case view to the most recently active projects — the page then shows a notice. If you only want one station's occupancy, the station detail page is faster; for a single project, the schedule on the project page is enough.
- "An entry appears twice (planned and actual)." That's intentional: planned shows the schedule, actual shows what really happened. Both views can be shown/hidden independently via the filter chips.
